A pure calcium product which promotes a healthy substrate for hermit crabs. The product will help control bacteria build up and will clump with excess moisture for easy removal. Your crabs will have a tendency to eat it because of its pure calcium content, which will help develop their exoskeleton. Generously cover the bottom of your tank with the calci sand, at least as deep as the height of your hermit crabs, so they can molt underneath the surface.
